Refugee Crisis Response

Period: February 24, 2022 – May 5, 2022

From the first hours of the war, the Constantin Mimi Foundation established two accommodation points for refugees, offering hot meals, water supplies, disinfectants, and internet access.

Later, the foundation renovated an old, unused building in Frispa to house refugees. Within 24 hours, mattresses, pillows for 100 people, hygiene items, and children’s food were purchased and delivered.

By March 2022, the foundation had assisted over 3,000 Ukrainian families. The Ukrainian ambassador to Moldova, Marko Shevchenko, recognized their efforts with a certificate of gratitude.

The foundation collaborated with local authorities in Bulboaca, Anenii Noi, and Chisinau, as well as other NGOs, to manage resources efficiently.
