Constantin Mimi Foundation Honored by the President of Romania with the “Cultural Merit” Order

On January 15, National Culture Day, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis signed several decoration decrees. These awards honor individuals and institutions for their contributions to promoting Romanian culture both nationally and internationally.

Among the 25 recipients was the Constantin Mimi Foundation from the Republic of Moldova, recognized for its cultural, social, and tourism initiatives in the country.

“As a mark of appreciation for its significant contribution to affirming European values in the Republic of Moldova through culture and collaboration with Romanian cultural operators, the President of Romania has awarded the Cultural Merit Order, Knight rank, Category F – Promotion of Culture, to the Constantin Mimi Foundation, Republic of Moldova,” the decree, published on the Romanian Presidency’s website, stated.

Cristina Frolov, President of the Constantin Mimi Foundation, expressed that this distinction is a great honor for the organization.

“With joy and gratitude, we extend our sincere thanks to the President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Iohannis, for the honor of awarding the Cultural Merit Order, Knight rank, Category F – Promotion of Culture, to the Constantin Mimi Foundation. We are proud to contribute to affirming Romanian, European, and universal values in the Republic of Moldova through culture and fruitful collaboration with Romanian cultural institutions and organizations,” said Cristina Frolov.
