Romanian Art Exhibition “Art Safari” at Castel Mimi
The “Art Safari” Romanian Art Exhibition celebrated Romanian female artists, including those from Bessarabia, who placed Romania on Europe’s cultural map during the interwar period.
This unique exhibition, hosted in the gallery of Castel Mimi, introduced the public in Moldova to a fresh perspective on modern and contemporary Romanian and Bessarabian art, highlighting the contributions of women artists.
The project was organized by the Constantin Mimi Foundation and funded by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova, the Romanian Cultural Institute “Mihai Eminescu” in Chisinau, the Ministry of Culture of Moldova, the Romanian Embassy in Moldova, and Castel Mimi.
