Disaster Risk Reduction Forum: “Tourism Development Perspectives in Anenii Noi District”

On October 10, 2024, the Disaster Risk Reduction Forum was held at Castel Mimi Wine Resort, with the theme: “Tourism Development Perspectives in Anenii Noi District”.

The forum, chaired by Cristina Frolov, President of the Constantin Mimi Foundation, brought together district leaders, mayors, local action group directors, experts, civil society members, and business representatives.

The attendees approved a resolution to officially address the Anenii Noi District Council for a dedicated tourism development budget and to request a meeting with the Ministry of Culture to emphasize the need for launching development programs in the region’s villages.

This project is funded by the STRIVE consortium, supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and co-financed by USAID Moldova. It is implemented by Acted Moldova and its partners, BSF and IMPACT.
